A Highly Diverse Race
After 6 highly varied stages ranging from 20 knots, calm conditions, bright sunshine and rain (let’s not forget we’re in Normandy!), the 36th edition concluded last Sunday under sunny skies in Saint Vaast la Hougue with a great victory for the team in category 4.
We mentioned a modified course due to the health crisis. Indeed, this year’s Tour des Ports was 100% French with constructed courses and coastal routes.
You may have noticed the boat has changed! The J/88 has gone to Les Sables d’Olonne and has been replaced by a J/99, the latest addition to JComposites’ sport range. A boat that has once again demonstrated its performance.

Cherbourg Sailors Still Going Strong at the Tour des Ports de la Manche
Congratulations to all participants and especially to Thierry Fortin on his Sun Fizz and his great victory in his category.
Members of the Yacht Club de Cherbourg were present again this year! What a pleasure to see such camaraderie ashore and great battles at sea 🙂
