J/7

Modern 23' Family Daysailer
Double your days on the water

The new J/7 is a modern 23-foot (7 m) family daysailer, featuring a large, deep and reassuring cockpit, an easy-to-handle sail plan, and unmatched built-in stability in its class. It is the ideal boat: spacious enough to take the whole family aboard, while remaining compact enough to be easily towed behind a mid-size SUV.

Simplicity is a good thing, and with the J/7, it reaches its peak.

With one hand on the helm and the other on the mainsheet, you can sail comfortably all day long. All manoeuvres are within reach from the cockpit, and the adjustable backstay allows you to instantly adapt the sail plan in gusts. Thanks to its exceptional stability, the J/7 performs well across a wide range of conditions, with mainsail and small jib, or even under mainsail alone. A versatility that will allow you to get out on the water more often, even when others stay at the dock.

The pleasure of sailing with complete simplicity

The J/7 is designed and built to withstand the demands of intensive daily use, drawing directly on more than 45 years of experience gained with the J/22, J/24, J/70 and J/80 in institutional programmes around the world. The J/7’s hull, deck and structural bulkheads use a composite sandwich construction with E-glass fibreglass and a Corecell foam core, including high-density inserts for highly loaded deck hardware. With this strength-to-weight ratio, the J/7 is one of the most robust J’s ever built.
