After several weeks in the yard, this Dufour has returned to its berth.

BOATYARD

Our teams carried out major refit and structural work on this cruiser-racer. And it was no small task: keel removal, sanding, hull lamination to reinforce the structure, keel reinstallation, painting, antifouling, covering application, etc.

Extensive work on both the exterior and interior of the boat, involving dismantling and reassembling the furniture. This was the ideal opportunity for the installation of a heating system envisioned by the owner.

To complete this refit, the entire rigging and deck hardware was overhauled. The Dufour 40 will, among other things, cut a fine figure with its brand new carbon steering wheel.

RIGGING & ELECTRONICS

Meanwhile, under the expert hands of the rigging and electronics team, all electronic equipment was removed and serviced. Upgrades to new equipment were made when necessary.

This yacht now proudly sports a like-new mast that was fully inspected and then covered with a very elegant white covering.

SAILMAKING & UPHOLSTERY

Finally, Axe Sail’s sailmaking and upholstery departments were also called upon to get this boat ready for the season. New sails, a custom dodger, and a steering wheel cover complete its equipment.
