Our teams can intervene on:

  • interior refitting

> Deck Covering

Specialists in the renovation and maintenance of decks for all types of sailboats, we carry out your custom projects, notably through our partnership with Flexiteek, for a durable and aesthetic result.

Our refit process includes:

  • Complete removal of existing teak panels
  • Meticulous surface preparation to ensure perfect installation
  • Creation of templates for a custom fit
  • Precise installation of Flexiteek panels
  • Replacement of all battens, also in Flexiteek

Our teams select the products and processes adapted to your needs and budget.

> Osmosis Treatment

Osmosis is a phenomenon that can affect composite hulls over time. The treatment consists of eliminating contaminated areas and restoring the structural integrity of the hull.

The intervention generally includes:

  • gelcoat and altered layer planing

  • complete drying of the hull

  • extraction of saline acids

  • application of a re-impregnation resin

  • reworking of shapes and finishes

  • application of an epoxy primer and suitable antifouling

This process durably restores the composite structure and preserves the boat’s value.

> Abrasive Blasting, Hull Preparation

Abrasive blasting is an effective solution for removing layers of antifouling or old paints and restoring a perfectly sound surface.

This technique allows for:

  • precise and homogeneous stripping

  • ideal preparation before painting

  • significant time savings compared to manual sanding

The Axe Sail shipyard has dedicated equipment to carry out these operations on-site. We also offer a mobile unit that can intervene directly at various storage locations.

Beyond one-off jobs, Axe Sail supports owners in the technical monitoring of their boat throughout the year.

Our teams perform:

  • regular hull and deck inspections

  • equipment and installation checks

  • replacement of valves or technical components

Regular maintenance allows for anticipating necessary interventions, optimizing boat reliability, and calmly preparing for future voyages.
