After several weeks in the yard, this Dufour has returned to its berth.<\/span><\/h6>
BOATYARD<\/span><\/h5>

Our teams carried out major refit and structural work on this cruiser-racer. And it was no small task: keel removal, sanding, hull lamination to reinforce the structure, keel reinstallation, painting, antifouling, covering application, etc. <\/span><\/p>

Extensive work on both the exterior and interior of the boat, involving dismantling and reassembling the furniture. This was the ideal opportunity for the installation of a heating system envisioned by the owner. <\/span><\/p>

To complete this refit, the entire rigging and deck hardware was overhauled. The Dufour 40 will, among other things, cut a fine figure with its brand new carbon steering wheel. <\/span><\/p>

RIGGING & ELECTRONICS<\/span><\/h5>

Meanwhile, under the expert hands of the rigging and electronics team, all electronic equipment was removed and serviced. Upgrades to new equipment were made when necessary. <\/span><\/p>

This yacht now proudly sports a like-new mast that was fully inspected and then covered with a very elegant white covering.<\/span><\/p>

SAILMAKING & UPHOLSTERY<\/span><\/h5>

Finally, Axe Sail’s sailmaking and upholstery departments were also called upon to get this boat ready for the season.
